
Short Description:
This English Cucumber and Pickled Red Onion Salad is a tangy and delightful side or snack all year round!
Recipe:
1) Slice organic onions and place in a medium pot
2) Add vinegar, sugar and oil- bring to a simmer for 2 minutes
3) Slice grapes & cucumber, reserve on side
4) Pour hot vinegar mix over organic cucumbers & grapes
5) Refrigerate for 1/2 hour
6) Add sesame sprouts & seeds
7) Season with salt to taste
Ingredients:
3 organic English Cucumbers, peel in stripes
1 medium organic red onions, sliced thin
1/2 cup brown rice vinegar
2 tbsp. raw agave or organic sugar
1/2 bunch organic red or concord grapes, sliced
1/2 cup sunflower sprouts
2 tbsp. sesame seeds
1 tbsp. sesame oil
Salt to taste
