These portobello steaks are perfect for grilling this late spring and early summer. We suggest pairing this savory vegan steak with a refreshing, tart organic, cold-pressed lemon, apple and ginger Fresh Start


  • Organic portobello mushrooms 
  • Balsamic vinegar 
  • Olive oil 
  • Black pepper and sea salt OR vegan steak seasoning 


  1. In a shallow baking dish, place portobello mushrooms facing down. Mix together balsamic vinegar and olive oil with equal parts, and season with either black pepper and sea salt or vegan steak seasoning and coat all mushrooms. Be sure to pour the mixture over all the mushrooms once they have been coated and allow the mixture to line the bottom of the baking dish. 
  2. Allow the mushrooms to marinate for at least one hour. 
  3. Grill the mushrooms for 5 minutes on each side, or until they are slightly charred and cooked through. 
  4. Serve Portobello mushroom "steaks" either on their own or with a bun as a burger! Enjoy with a refreshing, organic cold-pressed Fresh Start!
