Take a Dip with Spinach

Around holiday time, we’re surrounded by food that’s tasty but, well, pretty awful for us. Here’s a recipe for a Raw Spinach and Avocado Dip that’s not only delicious, it’s easy to make and healthy (vitamins E and K and potassium, for starters) - and a great bring-to for a cocktail party.


  • 5 cups spinach, chopped
  • 1 avocado, cut in pieces
  • 1/4 cup onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • ½ teaspoon kosher salt


  • Place ingredients in a food processor and process until smooth.
