5 Ways to get in Touch with Nature for Spring!

Spring is here! The flowers are blooming, activities are starting but there are so many options to choose from. I created a simple list of fun activities you can do to fully embrace spring and all of its magic.

1. Take a Walk

One of the best ways to enjoy the warming weather is taking a stroll or an energizing jog through the park and enjoying the blooming flowers. Maybe you’ll find a new site to explore with friends that becomes your new go to place.

2. Buy Yourself Some Flowers

Incorporating fresh flowers into your home adds a simple and elegant touch and are easy to find. Grocery stores, farmers markets and florists will have a variety of spring flowers to carefully craft your own bouquet. Bonus: Find a floral arrangement class in your town!

3. Wear Pastels

Adding some pastel colors to your wardrobe like a dress or earrings can give you a lively boost. Great colors like light blue, pale yellow, lavender and mint green can provide some warmth as we get through the last cold days.

4. Take an Outdoor Class

There are many classes to try throughout the year but some of my favorites are the ones that incorporate fresh air. Yoga, group hikes, writing and art to name a few. The change of scenery and new inspiration is enough to get you motivated.

5. Make a Meal with Seasonal Ingredients

My favorite part of spring is the variety of beautiful fruits and vegetables that become more available. Incorporating them into your meal will not only provide added nutrients but also be delicious! Some spring favorite fruits are apricots, cherries, and strawberries. Vegetables like artichokes, radishes and leeks are wonderful too. Having a gathering or attending a cooking class will bring your group together and fully embrace Spring! Here are some recipe ideas you can try:
  • Vegan Strawberry Muffins
  • Vegan Potato Leek Soup
  • Thai Coconut Curry Corn Soup
  • Vegan Bean Pesto Pasta

Overall, getting in touch with nature during spring can be a great way to improve your physical and mental well-being and enjoy the beauty of the season.
