Everyone loves Rice Krispie treats, especially during the holidays! This recipe, inspired by the Fettle Vegan, is a great vegan version of a kid favorite, with an elevated twist (hint: it's apple pie!). A bonus to this dessert, it's gluten-free!Â
Ingredients:
- 6 Cups Crisped Rice Cereal
- 1-10 oz. bag Marshmallows
- 3 tablespoons Vegan Butter (Earth Balance works great)
- 1 cup Organic Dried Applies
- 1 cup Vegan White Chocolate Chips
- Ground Cinnamon for dustingÂ

Recipe:
- Combine marshmallows and butter in a large microwave safe bowl. Melt together on high for 2-3 minutes, stirring every minute.
- Add crisped rice cereal, dried apples, and white chocolate chips. Mix together until evenly combined.Â
- Evenly distribute the mixture into a foil or wax paper lined 13"x9" pan.Â
- Dust with cinnamon!Â
- Cool for at least one hour before cutting into squares. Dust with more cinnamon if you like and enjoy!Â
